This very decorative Tibetan wool rug is shaped to use as saddle rug for a pony but would make a pretty hearth rug in a small cottage.

Traditional design around the border and decorated with deer and birds, there are some little signs of wear around the edges, but the overall condition is very good. Perfect for a low traffic room or to hang on a wall and enjoy the striking colours and design.

In the old days, Pony trains were a common sight on mountain trails. They wended their way along the old silk routes through the Himalayas.
