This solid teak 19th-century Indian almirah cabinet has expertly carved sunburst panels that are an excellent example of the Indo-Portuguese blend of styles. The core Portuguese occupation did not expand beyond Southern India, however, these cabinets can be found in Gujarat further north showing how trade and styles transcended regional borders.

Inside there are three sturdy shelves as well as a drawer in the lower section. One door can be bolted closed while the other has a magnet too keep it in place.
