These beautifully carved Indian panels were carved from local teak trees by local tribal people. They were symbols of their favorite deity hung on the walls of tribal village huts in Andhra Pradesh. These panels date to the early 20th century (circa 1900) and would have been cherished and interacted with on a daily basis. They look great hung on a wall as a group.
