This charming Indian small mirror is typical of the tribal artwork of Banswara in Southern Rajasthan. The area is prominently populated with Bhil ethnic tribes with their distinct design styles. Themes include strong geometric carvings around the frame and the prominent use of parrots upon horse heads.

Layers of old paint reveal a colourful and varied life. This piece comes supplied with a wire hanger.
