Painted Indian Jali Doors From Patan - 18th Century

This exquisite pair of 18th century carved teak jali doors have their original vermillion paint. They were originally from Patan in India. Although mounted on a stand, we'd recommend hanging them on a wall as dramatic wall art. Jali or jaali is an intricate form of Indian lattice work. 

These shutters are still functional and can be built into your home as doors or as cupboard doors to a pantry. These doors are a stunning addition to any interior.
