    Product Description & Specifications

    Title

This beautifully carved architectural support likely would have come from a large chariot called a 'Rath' or sometimes 'Juggernaut'. These were essentially giant rolling temples made form wood and pulled by teams of devotional worshipers often hundreds strong. Beautiful carvings like this often adorned the chariots. It depicts a hunting scene with armed riders on horseback and another figure on foot next to a tiger. Similar examples can be found with the British Museum and the New York Met.

We've added a base in our workshop to turn it into a fantastic centrepiece ornament which would make a stunning addition to any room in your home.
