Carved Teak Doors & Frame From India - 19thC

This lovely teak painted door has been salvaged from an old building in Gujarat. It has lots of the original paint and would look great in an old cottage or displayed in a modern house on a feature wall.

These doors are saved from buildings in India which have fallen into a state of disrepair and are no longer in a repairable state. As with most Indian doors, they would have originally operated on a pin and post system and not on hinges. This door can be customised in our workshop to your requirements for a surcharge.

Although this is a heavy piece, Indigo Antiques have a trained delivery team to bring it into your home. We can provide assembly advice to your builders however we will need to discuss your hinge and hanging requirements before arranging delivery. Hinges may incur a small additional charge depending on your specifications.

Available with a vintage blue painted finish or a white lime wash.

Can also be made as a coffee table.
