This old Indian cowbell is from Rajasthan. It is carved from a single piece of teak wood. These wooden bells were used by Rajasthani herders and farmers to keep track of their livestock. Depending on size, these bells were used for cows, goats, and camels.

These bells have a simplistic rustic beauty and give an evocative sound that takes you straight to India.
