This striking Indian side table is crafted from an original carved pillar capital salvaged from old buildings in Gujarat, India. Made from reclaimed teak, the piece celebrates the sculptural form and craftsmanship of traditional architectural elements, reimagined here as a functional and highly decorative side table.
Layers of worn paint in soft blues, yellows, whites, and natural wood tones create a richly textured surface with a strong sense of history and character. The robust carved form gives the table excellent stability, while the compact scale makes it particularly versatile. Extremely durable and naturally resistant to moisture, reclaimed teak makes this an excellent choice for use in a bathroom, hallway, or living room.
