Painted Indian Door From Gujarat - 19th Century

Looking for a dramatic entrance to your room or as a statement piece in your home, a retail space or film set? These Indian antique painted doors and frame hark from Gujarat and have been reclaimed from an old haveli.

The carving and top lintel are in the classic Gujarati style. These doors would have originally been used as the front door of a merchant's home. These doors are saved from buildings in India that have fallen into a state of disrepair and are no longer in a repairable state.  The door is fitted with the original brass handles and lock.
