This impressive Indian door has been salvaged from an old building in Gujarat which has since fallen into disrepair. Dating to the 19th century it would have been covered in pitch to protect it from the elements.

The style of this door shows a strong Mughal influence. They are made from teak & come from Gujarat. They're both incredibly sturdy and durable and they'd be best used as a walkthrough doorway built into the fabric of your home for the ultimate incredible doorway. They would also look stunning hung on a wall or as a freestanding piece of art.

Although this is a heavy piece, Indigo Antiques have a trained delivery team to bring it into your home, and we can provide assembly advice to your builders. Was can also assist you with choosing the right hinges and supply them at a small extra cost.
