Carved Teak Indian Panelled Door From Gujarat - 19thC

This impressive Indian door has been salvaged from an old building in Gujarat which has since fallen into disrepair. Dating to the 19^th century it would have been covered in pitch to protect it from the elements.

The style of this door shows a strong Mughal influence. They are made from teak & come from Gujarat. They're both incredibly sturdy and durable and they'd be best used as a walkthrough doorway built into the fabric of your home for the ultimate incredible doorway. They would also look stunning hung on a wall or as a freestanding piece of art.
