Carved And Limed Mango Wood Chair

This hand-carved limed mango wood chair takes its inspiration from the ceremonial seating and marble thrones found in the palaces of Rajasthan, reinterpreted here as a striking single chair for contemporary interiors. The high back, sweeping sides, turned legs and carved finials give the piece an impressive architectural presence.

The carving is the real focus. The raised back is centred with a kalasha-inspired motif surrounded by deeply carved scrolling foliage, while a pierced jali panel adds lightness to the design.
