This beautifully carved teak seed drill has been converted into a truly unique candle stand. The carvings depicting most of the favourite subjects, a Nandi bull, a Ganesh, and a Garuda. Circa 100 years old.

Like many things in India, seed drills were made for a practical purpose for spreading seeds  - beautifully carved by Marathi craftsmen in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Nowadays these seed drills are great used as a candlestand or just as a beautiful decorative object.
