This style of pot was used for tobacco and opium and is a real collector's piece. This piece dates to the 19^th century and has been beautifully constructed using brass and teakwood which has developed a great patina with age. These pots are found in Rajasthan & Gujarat and are made from a single piece of wood. The top on this piece has long since been lost and has an old replacement from the mid 20^th century. These pots were well cared for and in constant use.

These pots are becoming increasingly hard to find.
