These Indian doors from Bikaner would have once been covered in extravagant painting and after many years in the Thar desert have been sun-bleached. Unusual for Indian doors, they are walk-through height at 188cm tall. They are constructed from roheda wood which is similar to teak wood and used almost exclusively in Northern Rajasthan.

Bikaner in Rajasthan has become world famous for its extravagantly painted and expertly carved buildings, craftwork and artwork.

Our expert team can assist you with advice on how to fit these beautiful pieces into your home and supply hinges for a small extra charge. Also suitable for wall art, hangers can be added on request.
