Looking for a dramatic entrance to your room or as a statement piece in your home, a retail space or film set? These antique painted doors and frame from India hark from Gujarat and have been reclaimed from an old haveli, which were the houses of the wealthy.
The chip carving and top lintel are classic of the style of Gujarat and include Krishna flanked by Elephants. The uprights rest on stone bases.
These doors are saved from buildings in India that have fallen into a state of disrepair and are no longer in a repairable state.
Although this is a heavy piece, Indigo Antiques have a trained delivery team to bring it into your home. We can provide assembly advice to your builders however we will need to discuss your hinge and hanging requirements before arranging delivery.
