This beautifully carved roheda mirror is crafted from a 19th century Shekhawati window frame, originating from the desert region of Rajasthan. This region is renowned for its exceptional Mughal carving techniques. The intricate carving is enhanced with lovely black and red beading, while the top center of the frame features a stunning floral carving with two peacocks on either side.
These windows date to the 19th century and have been adapted and fitted with modern mirror glass. As they are reclaimed from buildings, they're also environmentally friendly.
This mirror is designed to be hung portrait and comes ready fitted with sturdy hangers.
