This characterful carved tribal panel comes from Rajasthan and dates to the 19th century. Deeply patinated with traces of old pitch, it has a wonderfully timeworn surface that speaks to its original architectural use.

The upper section is carved with a bold lion or tiger figure, while the lower section features a classic floral motif set within a circular frame. Its dark aged finish, iron strapwork and rustic texture make it a striking decorative wall piece with strong folk-art appeal. Hangers are attached to the reverse for easy display.
