This beautifully aged mirror began life as a traditional teak window frame from 19th-century Madhya Pradesh, now thoughtfully repurposed into a striking architectural mirror. Hand-carved with exceptional skill, it features an elegant Mughal arched opening framed by subtle foliate and ropework detailing. The top panel is inset with original jali latticework, a classic feature of Indian architecture that allowed light and ventilation while preserving privacy €” a poetic reminder of its original use in a heritage home.
The naturally weathered teak has been bleached to bring out its grain and soften its tone, enhancing the rustic elegance of the piece. Whether placed in a hallway, bedroom, or living space, it brings warmth, history, and texture to any interior. This large mirror can be used as a wall leaning mirror or can be fitted with wall hangers on request.
