This beautifully aged 19th-century stone lamp niche from Jaisalmer is hand carved from warm desert sandstone and decorated with intricate scrolling borders and twin Mughal arch openings. Inspired by the architectural detailing found throughout Rajasthan’s historic forts and havelis, the piece combines sculptural simplicity with finely worked craftsmanship, creating a decorative object full of character and heritage.
Traditionally installed beside entrances to hold small oil lamps or candles, these niches once illuminated interiors with a soft ambient glow. Today, they make striking architectural wall pieces for both indoor and outdoor spaces, equally effective displayed as standalone decorative art or used with tea lights. Supplied with strong wall hangers and mounting plates, the panel is ready for installation.
