A good Qing dynasty locust wood cabinet from Gansu. Locust wood is now extinct and is often confused with elm wood. Locust wood develops a beautiful patina & colour with age. This piece also has a wonderful prominent grain structure.

A useful configuration, with two drawers and a large accessible storage space below.
