    Availability

    These glass lamps are known in India as Hundis or Handis were originally made in Europe and exported to India as lighting for large homes and palaces in the 19th century. Candles or oil lamps were placed inside the glass bell and the glass lid prevented soot from marking the ceiling. Many survived on the tall ceilings, unlike their European counterparts which were destroyed when electricity arrived. 

    All lights can be wired as pendants and look perfect when paired with exposed filament bulbs
