A Journey Through India’s Culinary Heritage

Torie True has spent more than twenty years exploring the diverse regional cuisines of India. Through extensive travels across the country and years of cooking alongside her husband’s Indian family in both the UK and Kolkata, she has developed a deep understanding of traditional Indian home cooking and culinary heritage.

Her experience also includes completing the prestigious “Masterchef Course” at The Bangala in Tamil Nadu, recognised amongst the top restaurants in India, as well as collaborating with the head chef of the world-renowned Ananda in the Himalayas during London showcases of the hotel’s celebrated Ayurvedic cuisine.

Guests may also recognise Torie from her popular Instagram account, @chilliandmint, where she shares authentic Indian recipes, travel inspiration and stories from India’s kitchens.

Live Cooking Demonstrations & Tastings

Across two days, Torie will host four intimate demonstrations inspired by recipes from her latest book, Seven Kitchens. Each session offers guests the opportunity to watch authentic Indian dishes being prepared live, whilst learning about the regional influences, spices and traditions behind the recipes.

Guests will also enjoy:

- Tastings of the featured dishes

- Refreshments throughout the session

- The opportunity to meet Torie and have books signed

- A unique cultural experience surrounded by Indian & Oriental art and antiques

With only 25 spaces available per session, early booking is highly recommended.
