These two old Japanese woodblock prints are by renowned woodblock print artist Utagawa Kunisada and from a set of three entitled 'Elegant Amusements of Eastern Genji (Azuma Genji gayû no zu)'

Dating from 1854 - Edo Period these old prints have been reframed by our skilled team in a simple matte black wood frame.

The full triptych can be seen at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.

 

Condition:

These prints both have wear conducive with age. The below can be seen clearly in the photographs. 

'Print 1' bottom right has a small perforation in the print paper. 

'Print 2' has some small marks across the print.
