This stunning Mongolian side cabinet showcases intricate blue floral designs surrounding two bowls filled with pomegranates against a warm red painted backdrop. It has depictions of classic Mongolian Buddhist iconography; at the base, stylized mountains (perhaps Mount Kailash) emerge from the ocean, a common motif found in Mongolian and Tibetan art inspired by Buddhist mythology. The sides and top of the piece are unpainted and have developed a rich patina over the years.

The interior is separated by a single shelf and two drawers at the top offer additional storage for smaller items.
