These excellent quality antique Indian dog gates were used in front of the main entrance door of Gujarati Havelis to keep animals out. Constructed from teak wood and bound with iron, this example has high quality wrought iron jali work allowing a breeze to pass through whilst keeping animals and unwanted visitors out of the home. They date to the 19th century.

These gates make very interesting & decorative garden gates & are suitable for outdoor use or use as wall art.
