This grand mirror started life as a window in the Indian city of Bikaner which lies northwest of the state of Rajasthan. Bikaner is famed for its beautifully decorated buildings and furniture.

The mirror sits within a simple plain frame topped with a skillfully carved panel. Old pitch is still visible on parts of the frame adding character as well as depth to the carvings. The mirror is supplied with sturdy hangers on the back.
