These old carved Indian votive panels were hung on the walls of tribal village huts in Andhra Pradesh. Beautifully carved, these panels were symbols of a favourite local deity and would have been cherished and interacted with on a daily basis. Unusually, the red paint has been preserved.

They look great hung on a wall as a group.
