This dramatic painted antique Indian mirror frame is made from a reclaimed teak window from an old building in Southern Rajasthan. It dates to the second half of the 19th century. The mirror itself sits behind a classic Mughal arch which is framed by two stylised peacocks atop carved pillars. Two parrots sit atop the mihrab arch.

In places, layers of multiple decades of paint have worn away revealing beautifully patinated teak wood beneath. We have retained the lugs at the bottom of the window as a feature. These would have been used to fix the window frame into a wall. These lugs can be removed on request.

Antique Indian mirrors like this make a highly decorative addition to any room in your home, particularly a bathroom, bedroom, or living room.

Supplied with sturdy wall hangers.
