This stunning lacquered folding screen is an iconic piece of Chinese design made for the Chinoiserie obsessed Western expat market in the 1980's. One side is gilded with a 'hundred boys' design, featuring a host of children taking part in various outdoor activities. The reverse shows a beautiful design featuring butterflies on a repeating Chinese key design.

The screens come apart in two sets of two. Each screen section is 47.5 x 190cm.
