Dongbei Sideboards
Dongbei sideboards were used in a similar way to altar tables and a family ancestor portrait would often be hung above the sideboard. Joss sticks were lit daily & placed on the top, for the well being of the household. The name comes from the region of their origin - Dong' meaning East - 'Bei' meaning North.
Our genuine antiques are restored by our artisan team and are always dated. Pieces date from over 100 years old to those made up from reclaimed solid wood.
