Suitable for use as a coffee table, this 19thC carved teak rice grinding mill is from the villages of Rajasthan. It would originally have had quern stones for grinding wheat or other grains. There is a small door at the side for the flour to come out. The Hindi name for these hand operated mills is Chukki - supplied with a 6mm toughened glass top.
