Mongolian Sideboard - this piece has the original painting Ca 1920 made from Pine
Our pieces are mostly 19th century & early 20th century 
Mongolian Sideboards were usually made from locally sourced wood, normally Pine or Cedar.
These cabinets were used by nomadic people for storage of clothes and bedding or grain. Also used as altar cabinets for family ancestor worship - 19thC From Mongolia China. The door has been modified to make it more functional, it would have originally opened from the top by a hatch - 19thC
